The Audrey Cape | Project Run & Play
I’ve been seeing capes everywhere at the moment and this version is so gorgeous! I now that the pattern is for a little girl but you could easily alter it to fit your measurements. Then you can swish your cape and be all fashionable without spending a mint!

I’m under the impression this has already appeared here before, but it’s an easy and interesting project, so it’s worth a second reblog.

s&p diy: Galaxy Turban Headband
It’s hard to create a bleach project that hasn’t been done before…Clorox asked me to make something with it, and this is the best I could come up with…I need to pull at those strings in my brain and think of a reallyreally good one.

What we will be wearing in the year 2000, as predicted by fashion designers of the 1930s. Ooh, swish!

DIY Leather Earrings | Freshly Given
I keep looking in Op shops to try and find old leather anything to cut up and use, but thus far it evades me. I guess all the other crafters out there are going and buying it up before me! But I have found packets of leather off cuts in the craft store so I’ve been trying to find little projects using leather. I like these a lot - when I finally get my ears pierced again I’m going to wear these!

Circle Wrap Skirt | The Crafting Chicks
I think I’ve finally accepted the reality that the only thing I’m good at sewing is skirts. But there’s no prolem with that because skirts and dresses are my unofficial uniform. I adore this simple flippy skirt (twirly skirts are the bomb) and the colour is amazing. I’m going to be buying some fabric this weekend and make this, pronto!

DIY Gold Pants | Style Scrapbook
I’ve always failed pretty miserably at making pants, probably because I’ve tried to make them from a pattern (and I suck at sewing from patterns!) I think I need to do as Style Scrapbook has done here and use a pair of pants I already have as a guide. Oh yeah, and make them with an elastic band instead of trying to sew a zip or buttons! These pants are amazing - just sparkly enough to be something different yet not too sparkly as to look like you time travelled from Studio 54!

DIY Daisy Chain Necklace | Green Eyed Monster
I’m a bit of a sucker for big statement pieces when it comes to my jewelry. I’d pick a big chunky ring over a dainty necklace any day. That’s why I’m hearting this necklace! It’s made using the daisy chain knot which is really easy to use, plus Green Eyed Monster has included a video tutorial for those not familiar with it.

Heart Printed Tshirt | Internodiciotto
You know when you see something and you think, ‘oh my gosh why didn’t I think of that?’. This is such a cute idea - a plain tshirt, some fabric paint and a stamp and you’ve got your own printed top! You can make your stamp (look through my older posts for tutorials) or try the very sweet and cheap stamps from Nora Jane. I would love a feather stamped tee!

Rope Waist Belt | Dana’s Fashion Blog
I just found out about Dana’s Fashion blog and I’m a little giddy from excitement! She has some amazing DIYs - check them out! I will feature a few more of my favourites later. But right now I wanted to show you this awesome belt - perfect for cinching in your flippy summer frocks or for swapping out your normal coat belt to add a bit of interest. This is so easy to make - also, if you don’t have a hot glue gun yet, make sure it’s on your list because once you have one, you will not know how you lived without it!

DIY Lace Hoop Earrings | The Perfect Pear
These are hoops are made from scratch from pink wire and lace, but if you’re not sure you can wrap the hoops perfectly you can always use a pair of hoops you already have or buy a cheapo pair to update. These are super pretty and perfect for the upcoming Summer weather!
