When it comes to bookends, I really feel that the weirder they are, the better. I don’t live in a library, after all, so I’m entitled to own something more than those plain plastic ones, right? That’s why I’m so drawn to projects of this kind. It couldn’t be any simpler: take a plastic animal, break it in half, glue it to the plain bookend and ta-da! You got yourself a fun item to use in the kids’ rooms. If you want it to be a little bit more sophisticated, just spray paint it and that’s it, you’ll have a nifty useful piece like the one above!
