Blazer Vest Dress | Runway DIY

After seeing this outfit at Refinery 29, I was determined to try and find a DIY for a cut off blazer like the one Shira is wearing. I shouldn’t have bothered going anywhere else rather than Runway DIY! This is a great way to add a polished look to a flippy Summer dress (plus an extra layer of warmth!) You’ll be seeing a lot more jackets (trenches, etc) in the fashion mags so get ahead of the trend and rock this look now!

i just found a vest like this on a pile of clothes my stepmom was going to give away. my aunt was actually faster and beat me to it, but we live together and share a few clothing items, so it’s all good!

pretty simple outfit, but i love the idea of using knitted vests over floral skirts. this is, probably, as close to mori girls’ style as i’ll ever get.
